Will using CareCaptain change the way I interact with my clients?
Your clients should see very little difference. CareCaptain can process a casual booking automatically so the first suitable carer to accept has their profile sent to the client by email. The main visible change is a confirm or cancel link in that email. Automatic emails are customisable, and clients can reply straight to your chosen admin email.
If you do not want CareCaptain to send any emails to the client, you can process the booking manually so no automated client emails are sent.
Can I use the CareCaptain admin backend on my mobile?
Yes. You'll have full functionality on mobile and receive notifications on important updates such as new booking submissions and carers accepting bookings.
How does the invoicing feature work?
If you take a booking or admin fee from clients, this feature fits well. After a client submits a booking form they can be redirected to a payment page where you choose whether to take payment upfront or save their card details to charge later.
You can create multiple invoices for a booking and add line items. Invoicing runs via Stripe Payments, so you'll also have your own Stripe account and dashboard to manage payments and refunds.
When a booking is submitted, how does CareCaptain differentiate the suitable carers to send it to?
CareCaptain only sends the booking to carers with the suitable experience. When adding a carer, you can set their minimum child age. That means they will not receive bookings with children below that age.
For example, if a booking includes a one year old and a three year old, it will only be sent to carers with a minimum experience level of one year old and up. CareCaptain also supports multiple locations.
Am I able to trial the CareCaptain app before subscribing?
Yes. New clients can trial the app for 60 days. During that period, CareCaptain stays in close contact to help with questions and collect suggestions.
